    It was already assembled. The packaging was really good. I love it, being able to have both base lamp on or either one on at a time. I have had lots of comments on how nice it is and very unusual. I would recommend and good communication with seller is always a good sign. No problems with the plug, fits our British sockets.

    We have two of these lamps, one black, one white which we purchased direct from Ikea where they are currently priced at 12. If you are within striking distance of an Ikea you may wish to save yourself a few and the waiting in for a delivery pounds by buying direct. They assemble very easily and are pretty sturdy. The shades arent glass and the lamps are built to a price. We have one in a snug and the other in a study, both of which have low ceilings and small windows so that they are quite dark the uplighter really helps to bounce light around, whilst the flexible lamp is good for lighting the desk or providing light to read by. Despite the price, they are sturdy and wont fall over. We bought the first lamp about five years ago, and the second probably two or three years ago they get regular use and, apart from occasionally changing a bulb, they have been fine. They arent smart enough for a sitting room, in my opinion, but for a study or childrens room they are perfectly adequate.

    Excellent lamp. Bought for very elderly Mum who uses it all the time now. Just ordered second one for an Aunt who saw it and liked it. Bit slow in arriving but product excellent. Fairly large item, but extremely light weight, so again for elderly or infirm, is easy to move around. Would highly recommend.

These were to replace a broken security floodlight, and do the job.Pros are that easy to install, no complicated switches, no replacement bulbs needed, and no power used.Cons are that you cant controlalter the detection zone, nor the time it stays illuminated for.Overall a nice product

    If you need to add a clamp onto a stand that has a 58inch spud on it, these are just the ticket.Body is made of cast metal. Swivel joint is toothed so it will stay at the selected angle. Has an umbrella mounting hole and thumbscrew for securing.Clamp itself is made of formed sheetmetal with soft plasticcoated jaws. The plastic is nicely formed so it wont fall off the clamp and get lost.The clamp attaches into the top of the adapter via a machined aluminum spud and secured by a thumbscrew. The spud is bolted to the metal clamp with two cap screws. This clamp is not going to fall off or rotate. Jaws open to 214inches or a bit more. Strong spring will really hold whatever is clamped.Also included is an extra aluminum 58inch spud. One end has female 1420 threads, the other end, female 3816.Lot of capability for not much .

    After giving new shape to living room just before Christmas period, got this modern looking light.Delivered in box smaller than I expected. Im bit worried due to size, however was pleased to know that it was right size, just it packed in space saving style.I had to assemble it to get full size as it was advertised. It come with nice clear instructions which part where goes.It also came with remote control , which reaches easily with in 14 meters. With remote control possible to switch it on and off. Also possible to adjust brightness level and colour from cool warm.Due to size and style it need to be fitted properly, I had to use stud detector to fit it properly as main total weight of the light just over 3kg.Overall large modern looking light which blends perfectly with the rest of the room style. Brightness and colour between cold white and warm light can be changed depending from the mood.

    This Giggi multi shape light shade arrived and I was pleased to see it had been so well packaged. The outer box is displayed very well and tells me everything I need to know about the light shade inside, which includes it is the metal cage light pendant in rose gold I can see this from the picture on the front, it should be used with a maximum wattage of 21W and the bulb should be energy saving, a standard glass bulb shouldnt exceed 60W, it has a width of 20cm and a length of 37cm, and that this is the pendant only and does not include a bulb. So far everything looks good. A little surprised to see the box is almost completely flat and wether any self assembly is required.Fortunately, it is all pre assembled inside the box, with the whole thing being packaged flat. I can see here that the whole thing is metal and that the rose gold really is bright and shiny. There are a few main components to the shade which are the two circular ends one end features the light fitting and has a small plastic ring to decrease its size and the several outer brackets that are all joined by hinges in the middle. This means that adjusting the style of the light is easy by pulling the two end rings either further apart or closer together. There is a small set of instructions included with this, but it is a light shade and fitting this was so simple in a matter of minutes. Once fitted to my ceiling pendant light, I could then quickly adjust the light to the style I like, which was very quick and easy to do. The pendant is completely metal and has no outer fabric, which gives the whole light a lovely modern look. The light from the bulb catches the metal wonderfully and shines nicely through its bars. I will absolutely be continuing to use this. Highly recommended.

    This lamp is almost surprisingly ugly the kindest thing you could say would be industrial chic, but in fact it just reminds me of all the depressingly utilitarian, beige, plastic objects of my childhood. It also seems to pick up dirt easily, and look a bit scruffy. But it does exactly what it claims, throwing an agreeable pool of light which is very easy on the eyes, excellent to work in, and, as far as I can tell it still being dull autumn daylight outside without that bluish coldness I associate with most daylight lamps. And it is simple to put together, requiring no tools of any kind. So, as long as you dont want a beautiful object on your desk, I recommend it quite highly.

    This is a lovely lamp and looks far more expensive than it is. It was packaged very well indeed. Upon assembly we hit some problems which is why I have taken a star off. Once assembed it was wobbly and the shade was leaning to one side. After further inspection and making a few tweaks to the assembly its absolutely fine but if it hadnt been for the hubbys handywork Id have to send it back. Very pleased with it now though.

    I am impressed with this clip on lamp and for my purposes it its very useful. The metal clip is very strong and to be honest I needed 2 hands to open it but having said that it has a very firm grip and is very solid when attached. I have attached to the window sill by my bed and it hasnt budged even when hit accidentally. It also has not left any mark on the windowsill. It is powered by a USB cable and a 3 pin adapter plug is supplied but it is not rechargeable and does need to be plugged in while in use so an electric socket needs to be available. The cord is about 75 inches long. The controls are part way along the cord with an onoff button, a mode button and brightness controls. There are 3 modes, warm white, daylight and cool white which can be further adjusted with the brightness buttons. The position of the lamp head can be adjusted as it is on a flexible neck which can be bent to almost any angle, it is much more bendy than other flexible lamps I have had and has a rubber coating so hopefully wont crack like plastic ones do. The light spread is enough for personal use, and excellent for reading and the daylight mode is perfect for needlework.

    Die Leuchte war einfach und schnell zu montieren. Jedoch ist das einstellen der Zeiten etc. etwas fummelig. Mittels eines Phasenprfers o.. werden die Potis verstellt die relativ tief verbaut sind. Die Potis sind nicht skaliert so das einem nur das ausprobieren bleibt. Tut der Sache aber letztlich keinen Abbruch, da man die Lampe wahrscheinlich nur nach der Montage einstellt und dann nie wieder. Die Potis sind leicht zugnglich, der Glasschirm einfach zu entfernen. Wrde die Lampe trotz des kleinen Mankos bei Bedarf erneut kaufen. Verarbeitung ist solide, Qualitt insgesamt gut.

    I was expecting more from this. It doesnt fill the entire room and you need to place it in just the right spot to have a decent effect. Ideally placed either right in the centre of the room, low down or pointing towards a corner of the ceiling and away from your eyes which can be tricky. Im glad I got it at a lower price than it is now. Its a bit of fun and I did say Wow when it came on but the effect was nowhere near what I expected

    This is fantastic for any room to add subtle lights. It also has a star mode too so would be suitable for childrens rooms to help them sleep at night. It reflects onto the ceiling and wall really well and is nice and bright. It is not a large piece of equipment so does not take up a lot of space and the cable length is a generous size too.

    Die Lampe ist sehr einfach und auch ohne Probleme alleine zu montieren.Lichtstrke ist sehr gut und blendet nicht.Preis Leistung in meinen Augen ist Top.Wrde ich wieder Bestellen, wenn ich eine weitere bruchte .
