    Works as described. Eliminated me having to put a light inside my pantry, as motion allows this to turn on as needed. Adequate light for what I am using it for. Motion sensing capabilities could be more sensitive, however I suspect it has to do with the photocell not allowing it to turn on from ambient light nearby. If I trick the photocell as indicated in previous posts I feel it would make me happy happy happy.

    We are using this motionsensing light in our garage, and it turns on as soon as we open the door about 8 feet away.We have mounted it on the ceiling, but it could also be mounted on a wall. It was a job that took less than 5 minutes for my husband.The light is pretty bright considering its battery powered, and it creates a good pool of light within the whole garage space a larger than normal sized double, which is wider, longer and higher than standard. We no longer have to turn on the main strip lights to go in and get items out of the car or to get the salt for our water softener.The casing is bright white, so it is unobtrusive and blends in well. The lens cover is a frosted effect. It looks smart and functional when installed and we like it as its easier than using the main lights. If we have a power cut, we also will still have sufficient light to see what we are doing, which is an added bonus.5 stars

    I have 22 of the older version of these bulbs. These newer versions have better deeper colours, especially green. However when they have power to them but turned off via the hue app etc they emit a very annoying high pitch whine. Sounds like a transformer kind of whining noise. It is loud enough that my Mrs wouldnt sleep in the bedroom until i took them out. Once youve heard it you cant unhear it. Everything else is great about them but this fault seriously lets them down.

    I used these lights to add some muchneeded light to a stairway and hallway downstairs. The lights worked pretty well, although I found them to be a bit over sensitive to the point that they would turn on and off even with no movement whatsoever. I also found that they turned on even when there was a lot of ambient light, which was pointless. I would prefer that they stay off unless it is very dark. This leads to the biggest flaw in my opinion batteries drained completely in just over a month. I used nonexpired Duracells so its not an issue of using junk batteries either. Granted, they were used in a high traffic area but I was still disappointed with how quick they petered out. These would be GREATLY improved with a light sensitivity dial I would set them to only activate in the darkest setting. Past the return period anyway so not going to bother with refunds or anything.

    2 x Lighting system fitted in our cottage, between the beams perfect as we have low ceilings and cant have pendant lamps. We also cannot fit recessed spot lamps due to lack of space between the plasterboard ceiling and the underside of the floorboards of the room above.The kit is relatively easy to install, however the one issue I encountered was due to the way in which the lamp connects there is a small pin in the lamp fitting and this has to pierce the clear plastic sleeve on the suspension wire. After fitting two sets I found that if you rotate the connector body whilst screwing the pin in, it holds the wire in place and the pin pierces the cable easilyish. This issue might be solved if Paulmann sold the set with larger gauge cable.All told I am very pleased with the lighting and will be ordering another 3 sets when we refurb the kitchen.

Sie ist ordentlich verarbeitet und wirkt hochwertig. Die Installation ber meine Alexa Show hat ohne mein Zutun automatisch geklappt so stelle ich mir Smart Home vor.Die Leuchtkraft ist fr meine Ansprche Couchlampe absolut ausreichend. Wie erwartet sind die Weitne heller als die Farbtne, aber wer will schon bei rotem Licht lesen Ich jedenfalls nicht. Die Steuerung mittels Alexa klappt reibungslos, wie bereits von anderen Hue Lampen bekannt ist das Farbspektrum stark eingeschrnkt und kann nur ber die Hue APP voll ausgereizt werden.Aufgrund des bertriebenen Preises keine volle Punktzahl, ansonsten gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Have had two for about 9 months, still working nicely with the original batteries.Update After almost three years, one did finally stop working. In all fairness, I may have dropped it.     actually a good product, well made and bright. Its not too light on batteries no pun intended, or really made so I use rechargeable ones. Two sets of four C Cells. The base plate screws onto the ceiling, and the main unit fits onto that, so easy to remove for battery replacement. I actually made a small marker pen line to better locate the correct position to refit the unit. Saves faffing about trying to work out which way round. I use two indoors but they would make an excellent shed light.

    I did my research and chose this fan mainly due to the design no mahogany and fake brass or tulip lightbulbs for me but also Westinghouse are a US manufacturer who should know a few things about ceiling fans. The plan was to replace to cheap and noisy desk fans that we use almost all year round as we like air movement while we sleep.So, is it good I love it Fitting takes some effort in the end dealing with a heavy fan above your head is tiring but most of the connections are premake plugs for electrics and once youve assembled the fad unit and screwed the bracket to a joist then its fairly plain sailing.The moment of truth came when we switched it on would it be quiet Yes at the lowest speed you cant realistically hear it, at 2 its a whisper and 3 slightly louder. There is a switch for summerwinter the winter mode will mix the hot and cool air in your room with less breeze.The remote can be wall mounted in a small holder and switches the lights and fan.I will say that with the lights it is fairly low in a room with a sub 2.5 metre ceiling, but over a bed I dont see this as a problem. The pictured mounting pole is not the one you get you get the shortest for room heights of 8ft ish in American.42105cm blades suit 10x10ft to 1212ft rooms, get a larger one for a larger room.

    Pour un prix certes relativement lev quoiquon ait ici deux ampoules mais qui sexplique par la grande variabilit dclairage quelle offre, uniquement en blanc nanmoins pour ce lot dampoule la marque en propose qui font aussi la couleur.De plus les ampoules promettent de nombreuses heures dclairage 25000 chacune donc sur le terme cela savre rentable.Investir 60 dans de lclairage cela peut paratre excessif mais on ne se rend pas compte quel point cela peut influer sur la fatigue, le moral, ect… Je suis fan des Hue depuis plusieurs annes et je suis ravie de voir dbarquer des ampoules plus ordinaires qui permettent les mme fantaisies dautant quici en plus du choix dans une grande varit de ton de blanc les ampoules sont aussi dimable aka on peut faire varier lintensit de lclairage.

    Wir haben das Produkt schon seit einiger Zeit in unserem Haushalt.Die Verbindung zu Alexa funktioniert problemlos und innerhalb von wenigen Minuten. Auch die Lichtleistung ist vllig in Ordnung.Das einzige was mich strt ist, dass oftmals beim Ausschalten der Lampen ber Alexa die ein oder andere Lampe nicht aus geht. Oft sind mehrere Versuche notwendig bis die betroffene Lampe sich ausschaltet. Meistens klappt es mit einem Rest der Lampe. Jedoch bei einer gewissen Anzahl an Lampen kann das echt nervig werden.

    Managed to install the light myself despite having no prior experience. You dont have to earth the light fitting as its plastic. The only tricky bit was attaching the wires while holding the light but I managed it in the end.Its being used in my bedroom measuring 5x4m and its very bright. May even be too bright for a smaller room. Ive set it to a warm light but I quickly tried out all the settings and the neutral one looks just like daylight.Only been in use for 2 weeks so I cant speak to its longevity but Im really pleased with the light so far.

    We have a walkin closet and I replaced the bell jar light with a circular florescent light several years ago which was an improvement. With LEDs throughout our home, I was noticing that the closet was looking at little dark. I wanted a circular LED fixture with Daylight brightness and purchased it because it had that option. After showing my wife the different light settings, she actually chose a lower Kelvin setting which is incredibly bright. The installation bracket makes it so easy to install as its threaded and screws on to the light fixtures. I attached it the electrical box in the ceiling, connected the wires and screwed it on. The light came with wire nuts, new screws for the electrical box, etc. We are very pleased with this light and it looks good too.

    Just like their picture, it does not mount flush to the ceiling. The mounting ring is too flimsy and there is no way to tighten it down any further, so the light cant be tighten down to the ceiling. It still works and it gives off a lot of light without hanging down, which is what I needed in a low ceiling hallway.

    Early days as it is for this light, I am very pleased with it. I purchased similar lights on Radiant Roost which were slightly cheaper but did not match the description and certainly was not the same product as this. I did get a refund for the other lights so all was not lost but this is definitely the option to go for. Firstly, it matches the description. It comes with the stated wiring and is very easy to fit. The surround of the bayonet fixing is ceramic and can withstand the heat that a 100W bulb will generate. If you want a bathroom light or kitchen, where I fitted this which gives off a good amount of light and seems safe, get this.

    These feel very well made, the only criticism I have is that there is not a lot of room in the back to hide the wiring, as such they are quite fiddly to fit. We have some of the four spot versions and these are much easier to work with. All in all a good product that looks good.     These light bulbs are to replace the 5x 40w spotlight bulbs in the kitchendinette in my daughters house. The standard bulbs in this fitting do not last long due to the heat in the small fitting. These bulbs stay cool and so will last much much longer. in addition is the absolute plus factor of power saving. 5 bulbs at 40w each makes 200w, whereas 5 led bulbs at 6w makes only 30w with almost equal brightness.     Diese Lampen sind wirklich schlicht und schn. Die Spots sind angenehm klein und fallen an der Decke nicht strend auf. Das Licht hat eine schne warmweisse Farbe und die einzelnen Spots lassen sich gut ausrichten. Die Helligkeit ist so, wie man es von 4 W Spots erwarten kann. Ich habe 3 Lampen mit je 4 Spots in unserer Kche montiert und werde noch eine vierte Lampe nachrsten.Auch der Klick Mechanismus ist eine gute Idee, allerdings hat hier der Rotstifft bei Philips eine gute Umsetzung verhindert. Die beiden Klick Halterungen funktionieren ganz gut, aber der billige, lockere und in sich verdrehte Plastikstreifen dazwischen ist eine Zumutung. Es ist nahezu unmglich die Bohrlcher damit anzuzeichnen. Bei der ersten Lampe habe ich mich auf diese Hilfe verlassen und promt die Lcher falsch gebohrt. Der Abstand war zu gro. Der Plastikstreifen war einfach bei allen Lampen zu lang.Wenn man schon die Montage erleichtern will und mit dem KlickMechanismus wirbt, sollte man es auch richtig machen. Ein durchgehendes Plastikteil mit den kleinen Klick Nasen an beiden Enden wre super. Es msste nur formstabil sein. Das wrde vielleicht 10 Cent mehr kosten, aber die Montage wirklich erleichtern. So ist es gut gedacht und schlecht gemacht wie leider viele Details bei Philips.Trotzdem, wenn die Lampen dann montiert sind, ist der Frust vergessen. Deshalb auch nur ein Stern Abzug.ErgnzungIch habe jetzt eine 4. Lampe gekauft und der bemngelte Plastikstreifen hatte jetzt eine ordentliche Qualitt. Vermutlich hat Philips die Kritik der Kunden ernst genommen. Groes Kino, wirklich top. Damit ist dieser Kritikpunkt abgestellt und es gibt den fnften Stern.

    Die Leuchtmittel haben kontrastreiche und schne Farben, wenn man diese z. B. mit denen von Ikea vergleicht. Auch das HueSystem ist durchdacht und erlaubt viele Funktionen, die sich durch Drittanbieter wie IFTTT erweitern lassen. Aus Interesse habe ich eine direkte Bluetoothverbindung mit einem EchoGert ohne Zigbee probiert, was auch gut funktioniert hat.Wnschenswert wren 1000 lm, damit man bspw. auch mit einem Leuchtmittel als Deckenlicht einen ganzen Raum voll erleuchten kann. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil die Leuchtmittel bei einem Prozent Helligkeit in unregelmigen Abstnden, aber bemerkbar flackern. Dies konnte ich bereits bei der dritten Generation der White Ambience feststellen. Zudem finde ich den Preis im Verhltnis zur angegebenen Lebensdauer unbefriedigend.

    Die Philips LED Deckenleuchte findet bei uns Ihren Einsatz in unserer Abstellkammer, denn hier wird grundstzlich vergessen, dass Licht auszumachen und auch wenn dort schon eine LED Lampe ist, muss das ja nicht sein. Daher nun dieser Versuch mit dem Bewegungsmelder.Die Lampe geht bereits an, wenn man die Tr ffnet und ist etwa 30 sek lang an. Reicht diese Zeit nicht aus, dann ist man ja sowieso in Bewegung und die Lampe leuchtet erneut.Die Lampe ist aus Plastik und daher sollte man beim anbringen schon aufpassen, da man leicht die Oberflche verkratzen kann und dann schaut es nicht mehr so schn aus.Die Lampe erfllt Ihren Zweck und kann gut in Rumen oder Fluren genutzt werden, die wenig gebraucht werden.Ob die Lampe wirklich 15 Jahre leuchtet, dass kann ich noch nicht beurteilen, aber sollte sich in nchster Zeit etwas ndern, dann werde ich berichten.Wenn die LED Lampe kaputt ist, kann sie nicht ausgewechselt werden, sondern es muss eine neue Lampe besorgt werden. Hlt siie wirklich so lange und spart im Jahr auch gut Strom, dann denke ich ist das auch vllig okay. Der Preis der Lampe ist ja auch sehr gering im Vergleich zu anderen Lampen.

    Die Leuchte ist von der Helligkeit und der Farbtemperatur okay gewesen. Pairing mit der HueBridge hat anstandslos geklappt.Habe die Leuchte vor exakt zwei Jahren gekauft Juli 2018. Nun ist die kaltweiLED kaputt Mosfet und die Lampe lsst sich nur noch auf Warmwei einstellen. Hatte nicht vor, alle zwei Jahre eine neue Deckenlampe zu kaufen, nur weil die Elektronik Schrott ist.

    This light was bought for my garage which has no supply. The sensors mean the battery life is very good Ive had it on for about two hours per day for a month and not had to change the batteries.It illuminates the space much like a desk lamp but is suitable.

    Terrific light for my cloaks cupboard. I cant believe the light it gives out with just one LED. Id attached it to the ceiling using Command Damage Free Hangers, and so far, it has stayed put. Furthermore, it responds readily to movement, though I had to reposition it a couple of times to get the most effective response. Definitely recommended.

    Works great I thought I was going to need to disable the lightdetection mechanism but this device works perfectly as is for my tiny bedroom closet. Nice bright light. My only gripe is that it is kind of an in your face light. I had to mount it closer to the wall rather than in the center of the closet ceiling because I didnt light that bright light right in my face when I walked in. Wonderful product for those looking for a simple and inexpensive solution rather than hiring an electrician to come out. I love that I dont have to deal with a light switch not that thats a big deal or anything but it is nice to just walk in the close and, boom, the light comes on.

    Using 10000mAh LSD NiMH Ccells, runtime is less than 25 of runtime with Alkaline cells. I think the motion sensor needs the extra 0.3 volts per cell to work correctly since it turns on and stays on when the NiMH cells get a bit low. Light is bright, smooth, and neutral, motion sensor works well with fresh batteries, and batteries are easy to swap. I use one over my kitchen sink as a task light, and one in my cluttered garage to safely navigate to the light switch.

    Two things to know is that the lights require 3x D Battaries in each light which are not included. Second thing to know is that the lights switch on only when its dark.I really recommend these lights becuase all I had to do is add the battaries, drill it only where i want it to be placed and i did not need to make any interior holes, powersupply required etc, its easy and fuss free to set up while very powerful and super useful especially for the price and super fast arrival.

    I have a hall coat closet that is just out of range of the hall light. It makes hunting for a dark jacket in the dark a pain. Since there is no electricity access that Im willing to tear up my drywall to get to, Ive suffered for years with limited light.While Im not a fan of battery lights due to the low lumens and the need for battery replacement, I thought the latest generation of LED lights might be worth a try.I purchased this Mr. Beams and an Ivation 8LED at the same time to try them both. I mounted the MB 80 on the closet ceiling and used the Ivation on a wall in a shed my 2nd occasional light need. Im very happy with the MB 80 and would use it again. The Ivation Im less happy with as its light output is much weaker.The Mr. Beam motion sensor works great in my application. The light comes on when the closet door opens and stays on long enough for coat hunting. 3 months later the Mr Beam batteries are still going.

    Looks good and stylish.A little fiddley to put together and hang, but managed it by myself. I have it connected up to a dimmer switch where the fan works as normal by the pull switch, and the lights are dimmable.Works well, and quite quiet now I found at first there was some vibration from the bulbs, and it took a little adjusting but they are fine now. The original bulbs that came with all died very quickly, but had no problems with some decent bulbs in there.

    Got two of these yesterday for a dark stairwell and closet.The other reviewers were spot on about it only working in complete darkness, but this is perfect for the basement stairwell and closet I installed it at the top of. The range on the motion senor seems pretty good too, I installed this at the top of the stairs, with the sensor perpendicular to the ground and it comes on as soon as someone is at the bottom of the stairwell. Lets see how long the battery life lasts though.
