    This is a versatile lamp given the fact that I can be placed on a table top or clapped onto the side of any table, given its large and se yes peg.I placed it on my bed side table and I dont find it bright enough for me to read in bed. Because of the angle of the light, if you place the book right under it, its very bright, but if you place it a bit further away and not facing the book, then its not that good.That makes it an ideal desk lamp, but not bedside table.

    Although I will start by saying this is a little smaller than I thought I still love it. Its a true rose gold colour which is cleverly designed to easily change shape. Feels like its made from a decent sturdy metal and providing the bulb your using isnt too large or bulky, it can be changed when its up.Really effective and a beautiful addition to our home.     For a basic installation of a light pendant theyre all you need. Come with everything you need apart from screwsrawl plugs to fix them to the ceiling. So, yes they include terminal blocks. Backplate is transparent plastic, which is unusual but fine. Wires going to light pendant just wrap around hooks on the back plate for strain relief, so if you have a very, very heavy lamp shade they might not be the best solution.

    I put this up in my motherinlaws storage shed which does not have power to it. Mounted the solar panel on top and ran the line through the side vent to the light. Now when she opens the door the light comes on and she can see inside without using a flashlight. The shed is 12 x 16 and the light works great.

    Although I had to collect it from my local Post Office as Parcelforce left NO other alternative, I find it stylish, very bright, flexible, and, in my opinion, a far better option than the Lifemax 250.1 Floor Standing Reading Light which required assembly and had an unfortunate wobble once assembled.And it actually seems much brighter despite having the same bulb.Look at cost and availability of bulbs before buying, and if not entirely happy, look at the alternative lights available on Radiant Roost with more traditional bulbs.

    This lamp looks very nice, and the quality seems good enough. There is indeed now an onoff switch, which it appears earlier models lacked. I have two minor complaints which are 1 it did not come with a bulb, but reading the description again I can see it does not promise one, and 2 it was not very well packaged and I felt it could easily have got damaged in transit. In terms of the light itself, it emits less light than I anticipated. It still looks lovely, but perhaps best thought of as a decoration rather than a light source.

    Im glad I took a chance on this beautiful lamp. It looks exactly as pictured. What the pictures dont detail is the quality of the top piece. Its heavy. It doesnt feel or look cheap. There were some scratches on the steel, but they gave it some character, not a big deal. The lamp didnt come with directions, but its easy to assemble. If youre wondering where to insert the bulb not included, there is a screw on the back right and the back panel opens wide to insert a bulb. Once youve attached the lamp to the wooden tripod, you can extend it. I kept it short while I assembled it. The tripod wood is just lightly stained, so if you were so inclined, you could probably tape off the metal bits and stain it any color you like. This is not a reading lamp, and it will not light up a room. It says 40 w. I put in a 45 w LED bulb, and it didnt give off much light at all, although the light does reflect off the metal folds. Ive seen reproduction lamps like this sell for 800 dollars and more. Perhaps the wood on those lamps is a higher quality, but this bargain lamp suits me just fine. The only bad thing I can say is that there is a little wobble, but at this price point, Im okay with that. Its beautiful and it fits with the decor of my movie room. No complaints.I tried to get the cat to move out of the picture, but he wasnt having it. I think he was posing.

    Eine ergonomische Bedienung nicht mglich. Man muss in tiefen Lchern mit dem Schraubendreher die Einstellung vornehmen. Man sieht berhaupt nicht wa man tut. MIt Taschenlampe reinleuchten um Einstellungswert zu berprfen kann einfach nicht sein Einstellung hat dann auch noch willkrliche Reaktionen der Lampe zur Folge. Also fr mich Ganz miese Lampe. Aber die Lichtfarbe ist schnHabe jetzt ne Billiglampe fr 30 gekauft, die ist viel besser.

    A really useful light. I bought a cheaper version that was a string of small lights and that was useless, so cut my losses and got this one. Very bright and what I love is that you can slide it in and out of its holder, so if you attach it to the side of your machine it doesnt have to get in the way of a hard cover.
